Earlier this school year when welding and auto repair students at Boulder Technical Education Center (TEC) returned to their classrooms on the Arapahoe Campus, they were greeted by newly renovated classrooms/labs that had been updated to emulate professional shops.
“It ought to be a birthright for every child, every day, to have healthy food in school,” says Ann Cooper, Food Services Director at BVSD. “This new centralized production facility gives us the space and equipment to make that a reality for BVSD students.”

“This is my 17th year in education and it kind of makes you feel like it’s your first year all over again,” said Charity Crim, 2nd grade teacher at Superior Elementary. “You’re really trying to think intentionally on the most efficient, innovative ways to present information so online kids can get the same information your in-person kids are getting, and just creative ways to do that.
